What I'm thinking is. Something that says loud and clear, This is a first year car!
Something that won't cost EM very much money.

What I want to see is special paint and colors! Colors that no other Elio will ever have.

I want to see. Candy apple red, Pearl blueberry blue, Pearl orange, Pearl lime, Pearl grape and,,, Pearl lemon!

and a brass plate in side saying This Elio is number XXXX built for *************

What do y'all think?

Oy! A car that has 3 wheels, 84mpg on the highway for under $7k is saying something special! But I see what you mean, hmmmm, maybe a metallic fire engine red paint would be fun.

Realistically , a special badge as an option would be a smart move for Elio. Most folks would pay an extra $100 to get one .
Not me , but most folks would ;)
If they don't I will be making something similar on my own. There are plenty of places that will engrave. My wife also does vinyl work which is less perminant, but would still work

When I saw this thread title, the first thing I thought was "I wonder how long it'll take before someone says 'Deliver them. That will be special enough' or something like that." One post. That was it. It took one post.

I'd like to see a commemorative glove box plaque or door sill plaque that announces the number and is signed by Paul. You can leave the names off because there is too big of a chance for a typo ruining something great. Barring that, something tasteful on the outside perhaps because anything too gaudy would be a turnoff.

Not a bad idea. I'm with you though, $100 for a commemorative badge on a car no one has ever seen the likes of is a bit redundent to me. Still it would be cool...

The just serial number each one separate from the VIN. I don't care about a plaque and would not pay any extra for one. My title will have the date manufactured.
