In the event of a rollover that jams the door, provided you are conscious, break the front or right hand window, climb out Elio and get help!

I am sure the Elio designers have taken this also in consideration, as this must be one of the safety requirements by the government, but certainly something that needs to be addressed. However, a removable sun or moon roof could be incorporated.

How about rolling down the window and crawling out that way, unless you are one of the 5% that won't fit through the window. I would like a sunroof as an option

I thought they were building a hatchback so the back panel could open up as an escape hatch.
