I thought trolls lived under bridges in fairy tales. After Coss identified a different kind of troll, I began to understand that there are some people so full of negative energy that they spread hate and discontent where ever they go. It is like the slime trail a slug leaves. I recently had conversation with a person that was assassinating the serenity and character of the person who sponsored his/her immigration by posting bile and hatred on Facebook. Then I learned that another was attacked in the same manner by this person. Today I saw headlines of an attack on a celebrity. How can someone hate themselves so much that they have to spread it around?

There are people everywhere who's life sucks sooo much they have to take it out on others to make themselves feel better!

Good question. I suppose they justify their hatred as "I believe something to be true and must tell others about it and I must belittle anyone whose ideas are counter to mine so I can feel good about myself and my attempt to make society better fit the ideas I believe to be the only correct ones." But, I'm not sure. I don't like them though...

with so many new members and more joining every day, this appears to be a good place to post a reminder .... on this forum discussions are expected to be conducted as those between friends .... they are not to be arguments, not to contain personal insults, not to contain post designed to create controversy and stimulate hard feelings .... friends can disagree without being disagreeable ..... as has happened over and over, with a steady increase in membership, a few come with an agenda not in keeping with the way we do business and who couldn't/wouldn't abide within those norms .... those folks are no longer with us ....bottom line, this is a Pro Elio forum .... realizing that while we strongly support EM many, if not most, us have had concerns which are openly expressed in the manner of discussions among friends .... any current members (old or new) reading this who feel inclined to come and not conduct themselves according, need to rethink their positions or move to a community more in tune with their points of view

You'd be a hater, too, if you had to live under a bridge all day and can only come out at night to use dial-up internet service.
