Wing Windows....HA!

My VW Rabbit had them GLUED to the metal hinge. Those stupid things would just fall out right after a friend would open it going down the road. .

I sealed mine off with that soft rubber tape and silicone window glue.

My 65 Mustang had them and I don't think you could force the latch. It had a button you had to press in order to rotate the latch up to get the window to open. They were nice though. I can't really see a reason the Elio would need them to be electric. It's not like you can't reach all the windows from the drivers seat.

I had the button too but what good is a locking button when it falls out .

Fail for VW for glass to metal bonding problems.
