I think it's a reference to the prez' hotel across the street from the WH.

In the context given... I think it's the WH with a subtle, almost subconscious reference to WF...the investment bank?!

I thought it was a reference to the wealthy foreign investors staying at the hotel across from the WH (i.e. as possible investors).

They were asking weird questions about my acceptable risk level!
