Funny, as that is my current MOS. I am here at Dixon Hall at Fort Gordon, as well.

My brother retired at Fort Gordon and lives out in the sticks near Augusta.

Wow do I feel old.. Army .. May 2ond 1966 thru January 3rd 1969....Basic training at Ft Knox KY.. AIT @ Ft Leonardwood MO, 1 year in Darmstadt Germany, 7th Army DIV.... Vietnan, January 1968--January 1969, 1st infantry -2ond and 18th Batalion.. Anyone here at either place / division at same time ?

Basic at Ft. Benning, Nov 67 thru Jan 68, AIT at Ft. Leonard Wood, 1st Armored Div Ft. Hood March 68 - Sept 69, US Embassy Libya Sept 69-March 70, EUCOM Stuttgart March 70 - Sept 70.

USN 1966-70 Guantanamo, Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Angola, Senegal, South Africa, Madagascar, Seychelles, India, Ethiopia, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, Diego Garcia, up and down the east coast of the USA. Think that's most of it. All on destroyers. The last one was the Forrest B Royal, DD872, which was given to Turkey about a year after I got out, and heard last year it had gone to the scrap yard recently.

USAF 1988-1992, Computer Operator. About as cushy a job as you could get as long as you didn't mind the target on top of the office.

We always got taken out first in every drill. Not very reassuring.

My dad and his brothers were all Navy and Army, Grandpa was Merchant Marine in WWII, Great Grandpa was Army in WWI and my oldest son was a Hospital Corpsman with the Marines in Afghanistan.
