on RV.net there is an ongoing thread since Nov 2013 http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/27332883.cfm about Elio Motor Company it has 6,696 views .... a link to this forum has been added .... at MyRVTalk.com there is a thread started 3 weeks ago http://www.myrvtalk.com/miscellaneous-wanted/13018-elio-motors.html that already has over 900 views .... it too has a link to this forum .... hopefully some of the folks interested in an Elio will end up over here

Surely you jest! LOL I do drive, I do not text and my last procreation is now 42 years old. LOL You must be thinking of someone else. Z

I know what you mean, I'm just social media saavy to be dangerous, mostly to myself! I'm not an Eliovangelist but if the subject is turning that way I'm more than willing to put my 2 cents worth in! It's a great product with an promising future.

As for the texters who decide to do it while they drive, what can you do but either get way ahead or drop behind once you spot them. When we were on our scooters (nice, big, shiny fast ones) when we saw them we opened the throttle and got ahead of them. That's the only way to deal with them safely.

I'll do what I can on this forum, will mention it to friends, and have mentioned it on other forums of which I am a member .... sorry, I have zero (in truth much less) interest/willingness to join any of the social media

Nothing professional. I did have a dirt track bomber car back in the day, a 77 Malibu. It was a good way to separate me from the few extra dollars I didnt spend on beer and chasing women back then.

These days Im just a spectator. Mostly NASCAR, but I enjoy about anything horsepower related.

Your comment sparked a recollection of a shirt I saw at a recent bike event. It said, "If is wasn't for women and beer I'd be rich!"

Umm, I think an Elio is the wrong place to be looking for horsepower. Unless you're talking about the turbo configuration ...

We would like our members help to promote this forum into becoming the go-to web site for Elio Motors discussion and information.

Even if you do not use social media you can still help spread the word about ElioOwners.com by simply telling people and groups you interact with both online and offline.

I agree that we need to reach out. My story, quickly- after putting my $ down, ( i know it's backwards) started to do some research. One of the top 10 google hits is this site. I find it so hard to believe, that so few who put up $ have followed-up or shown an interest in learning more about this project. I get a lot of q when I wear my tee, which tells me many in the public have brand recognition, and interest, I hope you find a way. I believe this site will become a money maker for you, once they start selling as you will become a "clearing house" posting aftermarket vendors, owners selling off stock parts, suppliers beating out Pep Boys for service as well as parts.
