The 2014 tour will bring both a P3 and P4 to Portland. For "club-like" activities, we could all meet at one of the stops and show our support.

Hi Daryl,

When is the "club-like" activities going to happen? on the Elio tour chart/site, it states that the P3 was going to be on the west coast and P4 was going to be on the east coast.. are you saying that they will both show up here in Portland???

I must have missed that one... that is great news...

I have seen the P3 when it was in Portland before, but I would love to see the P4... so count me in on meeting up to show our support...

Where did you find the trailers? The only one I have found that I felt would be safe to tow is the Mini Mate motorcycle tent trailer. I'm not looking for fancy. I simply want something I can sleep in comfortably

I forgot to add I live in Sutherlin, OR and I know there is at least one other person who has reserved in southern Oregon. I believe I saw his post on elioclub.org.

I don't remember the site where I found the photo's, I believe I just looked up Elio Motors photos and found them that way, I thought it was a Elio Motors site or some kind of link from Facebook, which I don't do... I don't think Elio Motors is making them... but Elio could surprise us all, and make these also... They will have the press to stamp them out...Just have to wait and see...

Proud to be ... a Elio owner soon...

zelio, These two sites I found by typing in (small pull behind motorcycle trailers). There were dozens of sites to choose from.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for that information. I found lots of sites for cargo trailers but very few for camp/tent trailers. I need some place to sleep that is pet and stairs free. All my relatives have both so taking my own bed sounds like a solution and I definitely am beyond sleeping on the ground. I love camping but I'd have to call 911 to get me out of bed in the morning if I slept on the ground. LOL The joints simply don't work like they used to. :-) Z

I may have to join your club in Portland, I don't think there is a club in Iowa yet, I can drive to your meetings (1900 miles) for $72 Elio gas dollars.
I was reading your post and thinking about the cost to get the Elio somewhere and it hit me....it will cost more to get the occupants to a given place than the vehicle, haha. We will probably spend more on food and drinks for a long drive than for the gas.

I know for sure my Amtrak ticket is the cheap end of the equation. 70 hours in transit IF there are no delays means a lot of meals and drinks. Even if I take along my own food which I usually do because I have to be gluten free, it can be expensive. But oh the fun of the adventure. LOL If you look at the mini mate tent trailer, it costs 2995, and it doesn't even move itself. That makes the Elio a real bargain. :-)

My statement was based upon the tour post at www.eliomotors.wordpress.com. The current post has newer, but more ambiguous, information: "We are going to start the next phase of the tour using two vehicles when we have multiple events to attend- the Rocket Silver P3 and the Creamsicle P4. We have decided to use both prototypes, when needed, to make sure that we get to all large events and allow even more of our fans and “pre-fans” to experience the Elio."
