Lets remember. The dash and the gauges sitting in it are two different things.

I have been gone for a while and I get the impression I missed out on a discussion about what side the gas filler port was on.

I see the future.. My Elio is delivered with the Elegant Elgin Dash..
I see myself wiring in a permanent fused 12 v power source to the dash.
I see myself screwing in a custom mount bracket.
I have a vision of myself - installing a 7 inch Nexus screen in front of the ghosts of Lord Elgin's tiny numbers dash.
I see myself placing my BAFX bluetooth ODB2 reader into the Elio Port.
I see myself configuring a customized dashboard on my Nexus with actual Temp readouts and all available engine data.
I see myself configuring the custom dash wigets of my Torque Pro app with finite needle gauge speed display and RPM.
I see myself using the native Nexus GPS functions perfectly fine with Speed displayed on the GPS.

I see the future even with this....this Elegant but limited functional Dash.. And i am fine with it

I will throw this out there and duck but I can't believe there is So much hate, speculation, and fear of a dash not ONE person has Actually seen??? All of this based on a photoshop Concept image in a photo shop image vehicle that also is not complete? I am NOT saying I love it but I also can't say I hate it because I have not actually seen it! They managed to sell everyone on a vehicle with 3 wheels but the pitch forks and cancelation threats go flying when they present a photoshop imaginary gauge cluster. Give them a chance folks! This car (what ever it is) is different in Every way compared to what we are used to (comfortable with) and we are still on board. When they decide to get rid of the door and replace it with an emergency roof hatch to reduce cost then we can justify fear and hate. We're getting all hot and bothered about something that has never been made or seen? I hate broccoli but my decision wasn't made via a made up picture! Flame suit on, start your attack! Duck!

What! It has a door and not just a rear hatch? Can it get any better than that?
