Another not so great article. ATVM being discussed here now, and the story mentions it also.

...the A+ Stock sale that was done through the Startup Program.
They did end up raising $17million which was enough for the E-Series program of 23 vehicles.
The MasterHerald is not always the most dependable or accurate source of EM news; kind of like Jalopnik (except for the last review they did).
masterherald.com is confusing at best as a news source. There is some speculation that it is an automated news site with no human intervention.
I'm not aware of an article from there, especially dealing with Elio that does not have major problems. I would search within this site for better...

Maybe someone can explain this to me, I'm not too smart.
In the article above it seems to say that Elio needs $25 million to build 25 prototypes. That comes out to a million a car. If an Elio is mainly built...

Nice little positive article.

The regulations for an "autocycle" vary widely from state to state. Some states (like Ohio) don't even use the term autocycle. In Ohio it's a "cab-enclosed motorcycle", and all it requires to meet that definition is three wheels and a roof. If you have that, then you are exempt from an...
...much they got wrong on that report. Even beyond the electric gaffe. AutoCycles only need a roof and a steering wheel? The regs I've read required quite a bit more to get a waiver for helmets and license. I know it was a filler segment, but it sounds like MasterHerald is writing their...
Voyager, I THINK this might be an overstepping of the author of the article:
"Apart from a crowd-funding initiative last year, Elio Motors also secured the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) loan program under the Department of Energy early this year."
Early this year? I'm...
RonnieB came up with the article that suggested it:
http://masterherald.com/elio-motors-paul-elio-gets-excellent-investor-prospects-for-the-independent-carmaker-at-gateway-conference/45552/
Rubbish. Regurgitated blogging with no research and out and out miscommunication. I left a critique on the site and they removed it instead of actually addressing all the fallacies in their article.
I am not negative on the ATVM loan, but the masterherald.com has had some strangely worded stories, as if they rewrite from other articles to make theirs. IMHO, I would not use it as a primary source for news. Just search masterherald here in the forums and you'll see what I mean.
Take a look at the article below. It sounds like the ATVM Loan is just about a go.
