I'm lucky to have gotten to attend a handful of operas live. My high school orchestra teacher was/is a bass player in the pit orchestra for the MN Opera, so we took a couple of field trips there. In college, the music department road tripped there (4 hours) as well. I never thought about how...

My fiance rides a motorcycle with a sidecar through the winter (note I'm from MN and he's from northern WI). This will definitely be a step up in comfort from that (less of a windchill factor), and I don't anticipate any problems in light-moderate snowfall.

Looks like the reservations nearly tripled since we originally went all-in for $100 in March (we're now all-in for $1000).

We upgraded to $1K reservation on July 29th and only received an order confirmation. After emailing them directly early August, they said 4-6 weeks to get our number. I'm glad to see an actual date for the batch to be sent out. It's reassuring that they didn't miss us.
