I agree with the prior suggestions regarding the Stebel Nautilus mini air horn. I put it in my smart in 2008 and it's worked flawlessly since then. I plan to put one in my Elio.

I the key word is "too" small. My dentist likes them small; too big would be a problem for him.
My girl friend sees it the other way round.

Might have to consider these. Compact. Though I want them to think there's a big gnarly OTR rig behind them.

They're not big rig or locomotive air horns, but people snap their heads around when I honk this horn in my smart. Discrete, this thing is not.

I have one of these on my motorcycle, it works really well. Will definitely think about getting one for my Elio, we'll have to see how the stock horn sounds.
