Yes, it must the lightness of the Liegh is an asset in snow and ice. I had a old Nissan pickup that could out perform 4 wheeler in mud or snow because it was lighter. Also hilarious that I could drive off with 2000 lbs in the bed that would leave any Ford or Chev quarter ton truck draging its tail and weaving side to side. LOLThe top is known as a "Bimini". It's a simple roof panel to keep the sun and rain off my head and the wind out of my eyes - more or less.
There is no rear screen and no side windows. You get wet from behind in heavy rain. I have a tonneau for parking, it has a zip fastener from front to rear down the centre so if there's just me in the car I can leave the passenger side closed and the heater then keeps me reasonably warm (I have driven the car in a foot of snow and temperatures well below freezing just for fun; it will go where many four wheel drive vehicles can't get).
