If it's not open to the public, maybe it's for people with big purses?!?

that would be nice .... no clue what's going on this time but historically they have closed events at places holding seminars on technical innovation and such .... another example is "May 05, 2015 - May 06, 2015 Ruckersville, VA Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) - Symposium with US insurance companies. - Closed to the public" .... I can see that event as being a major positive by introducing the Elio to the insurance industry .... I may be reading too much into this event because to me it demonstrates that the company is moving forward .... if they weren't convinced that they were going into production, I don't know that they would do so

Regardless if it is open or closed to the public, EM should take many still photographs and videos ( if permitted ) and used them and this event to promote the vehicle to those with big money. It should hire professional PR people and not leave it to the Elio Motors PR people. Their website does have a lovely shade of drab gray, but I don't think it is the shade that impresses people.

I like their website because it has less fluff. However, I know by now that if I like something, then it will not impress the rest of the world.

This event would have been perfect for all those in the Baltimore Washington area. It is a Smithsonian Magazine event called "THE FUTURE IS HERE". You can look up the event on the internet. Unfortunately Tickets = $250 to $350. This is extremely unfortunate. Driving to Greenbelt on a work day is out of the question. Not sure that I will ever see this car before 2016.....
