Cannot believe that those who said they would buy stock but didn't are not catching flak on this MB.

A lot of people that pledged at the $250 level had to pass when it went to $600 minimum because it was outside of the budget.
I was one of those; I live on a fixed income; so the $250 was a push, $600 not happening.
Not because they just chickened out.

I don't recall anything like that. There were LOTS of spoof "expressions of interest" that startengine tried to weed out, but obviously not all. I hope that the deadline gets the fence-sitters to jump in.

The fence sitters are possibly waiting for some actual production news, a finished P5, track test video, performance stats, and a test drive. I think EM is happy with the response they got to date if it gets the Es built/tested and the bills paid. I know I'm happy.

There were precious nuggets of wisdom hurled in the "Elio Crowdfunding" thread like:

"That is right. It is only to show interest. So, if you give a dollar amount, let's say $50,000, that looks better than $250.00."

So I may have been off by a zero, it's been awhile, and that thread is too deep for me to waste my time hunting down that nonsense. I think I recall the $500,000 because that's what their net worth would have to have been to make a legitimate reservation of $50K.

I also was suprised when the min. jumped from $250.00 to $600.00. It took some doing but I was finally able to get the money rounded up. Then my dyslexia showed up and I switched numbers in my SS#. It has finally been so sorted out and I am just waiting on word that I will receive my 51 shares of Elio stock.
