Seaside is a cool place, I've been there a few times.
My favorite on OR coast is down near Gold Beach and where the Pistol River meets the ocean; it's so quiet and peaceful down there.

Welcome from sunny New Mexico. My brother-in-law lives in Astoria and we visit there often. Camp Rilea has a great RV park between Seaside and Warrenton. Love to dig for razor clams on every trip.

Razor clams are good; I've lived in the PNW for 41 years (22 years in Indiana & Illinois before moving here in 75).IMHO Gooey Ducks cannot compare to razor clams...
Wouldn't trade it for anything.
