I'm just thinking for $140,000 I can hire a limo to take me wherever. (And I would also save on license, insurance, maintenance, etc.)

Looks like they have a lineup of vehicles too. The F4 supercar and the smaller more sleek Model N. How many people here are going to pre order these? It sounds like a winner.

Plus point #5 tells me they are going to do this and not just take your money and run.

They have a line-up of renders, and probably very few are going to pre-order them.

#5 just means that you won't be getting your money back if they go tits up.

How long do you think it'll be until they do a crowdfunding campaign on something like startengine?

I think they'd only crowdfund this if they don't get enough outside investment, and it would be a bad sign. They're going to need WAY more money than they could possibly get from crowdfunding.

If you look at Lucid, they didn't really get off the ground until the Saudi's invested a billion dollars...and that was after they had multiple prototypes and spent several years raising money.
