I believe it's time to build myself an old truck with a Tier 0 diesel and manual transmission. Hill parking will allow it to run "wirelessly" if needed.

Roof mounted twin .50s optional...

AS LONG AS WE HAVE MANNY , MOE & JACK FOR THE HARD STUFF ..................

Unless there's an issue of warranty required tasks, Manny, Moe and Jack can go play with all the "hard" things (of whatever realm) they wish - on someone else's ticket.
Beyond that, there's little likelihood that any of them {180 miles from my home (anyway) to the only Pepp-Boiz in the state of Maine} will ever see my vehicle, let alone "work" on it - or most probably even touch it.

P.S. Except for tire mounting & balancing and chassis alignment (for which I do not have my own tools), I haven't had a perfeshinil wrench monkey meddle with my vehicles in 40 years.

Intellectual property rights are not something new. You also need to define "work on your car". This strikes me as a the sky is falling thing...
