Those of us who had money down on the Aptera have seen the good, and the very bad, that comes with having more investors come in with their own vision.

The original Aptera was a quirky ride with stiff seats and windows that didn't open. The new leadership that came in was so intent on making the vehicle an "acceptable consumer product" that they forgot they first had to make a product. The goals Elio has set are so lofty, I'd hate to have someone also be telling them the seats aren't good enough, the shape isn't sexy enough, and the windows don't roll down far enough to accommodate a jumbo fry.

That said, I hope Paul is willing to give up some level of control to see this happen.

He'll have to share the profits, but I don't see him willingly giving up any control. With only a few quirks (dash) he's done a remarkable job! IMO. He has used information from all his suppliers to assemble a very remarkable and futuristic autocycle. What he has gleaned and used from ALL the input up to this point, he will not willlingly change in deference to someone who wants to buy thier way into control of Elios future. Again, IMO.

"Paul Elio is a smart engineer. He is a smart business manager. Now it looks like he is a smart finance officer. He may be able to pull this off. But then again, maybe not."

Is he? Do you remember Elio Engineering and their seat company? Elio refused to partner with Bostrom Seats and went Bankrupt.
Do you recognize the tune? Do you see a parallel?

 The questions about Elio’s strategy for entery into
automotive still remained. Paul& hari realized that they
needed answers to these questions in the coming days.
 Should Elio joint venture with Bostrom?
 Should it partner with a tier-one or tier two automotive
supplier?
 Was Elio’s technology strategy aligned with the
requirements for a successful entry into the automotive
market?
Case I-1 Elio Engineering Inc."

I don't know Paul Elio . I have no feelings about him one way or another . He designed a good vehicle and for that I think he should be well compensated if it succeeds. But if production can move forward without him , I would cast him aside like Bruce Jenner's boxer shorts. If a Shark tank style deal can go down , I am all for it .

It hurts my brain to do all the numbers. Besides If you can't afford Ik just to dream then you simply don't belong on this site. I say you need more time spent somewhere else. BTW isn't your Vancover still a subject of the crown? Seems we found a way to elect a King in America now.
