I was kind of confused by Elios email yesterday. It isn't clear to me whether they want to make sure everybody who showed interest gets a small bite of the Apple, or whether they're going to feed the early birds first. They filed for a class of solicitation that allows them to go for up to 50 million dollars, si I wonder why they aren't going for 50 million. The letter suggested they were dithering around between 25 and 30 million, and they have the option to extend.. but I don't understand why they aren't simply going for as much as they can get. They might not get all the way to 50 million, but they surely can subscribe up to 40 million or 45 million, which ain't peanuts.

Apparently they didn't want more than so much percentage of the ownership in the A+ program, or some of their business plans are dependent on that amount, one of those.
The reason for the email is to get everybody ready for a narrow-window to take action. i.e, a week too late is, well, too late.

best guess is they do want to ensure that all of their supporters who expressed interest do get an opportunity to invest ....best guess as to why they aren't going for the $50M, they must be confident that they have sufficient additional funding lined up ..... that could mean they have some insight into the government loan and/or additional private funding they need to get into production .... otherwise, it would hard for me to believe that they would pass up millions of Crowd Funding money .... here again, pure guesses
