Things I saw yesterday and today that convinced me that Elio needs to protect its self with lawyers.........

........ Over on ElioMotors FB -- Someone who wants to do a class action on Elio -- not really sure for what
........ And on Fox News the first infomercial from a law firm encouraging people to call to get in on a TDi lawsuit if you got a 2009 to 2015

Makes you wonder why anyone would want to go into business.
I'm not sure what is class actionable about Elio Motors, their agreements are pretty specific as to what what ones deposit will and will not get you. Though I think EM should offer all early reservation holders the option of getting a refund (if they have not) as the right thing to do, technically at the time the only product was the "all in" reservation which is the same as the one we have now.

Congratulations... and if I remember correctly, thank you for your service?
I'm jealous. I'll get there eventually :D
24 years in the Air Force. It went quicker that I would have thought and I know everyone always says that but it is true. I decided to retire in May and am still not quite ready to be "on my own"... I mean that my family and I will be away from the security that serving in the military has given us for the first time... Kind of scary but I AM looking forward to it. (that comes and goes... a little rollercoaster ride, if you will)

In the Elio blog about their first Pep Boys stop, there's a picture of me in uniform there. Pam was taking pictures with my phone for me and must have snuck her camera in there. I HAD asked that they not do that because we have some rules about being in uniform and "representing" things... Oh well, I'm retiring - and it's not like it was a political rally.

Ty, do you have a plan for the next few years? I sure hope so, drifting can kill you.
Thanks. I believe you are right there.

I actually have a job already lined up. I'm not ready to really retire. I'm actually "Transitioning to the civilian workforce". But, that job won't start till December most likely. It's a contracting job on base but the contract hasn't been awarded yet.

Other than that, I do intend to keep busy for a few more years... probably 15-20 more but the difference is I can quit if it gets to where I don't look forward to working.
