I keep telling you guys, it's all in the lighting (and your camera settings). Red hot is only hot when it has a fair amount of yellow in it. Too much blue, and it gets chilly. The earlier representations of Red Hot were about 40% blue, and it was not a hot color. If the lighting reflects a lot of yellow, or has a lot of yellow in it, the red will seem more "cream sicklish" and definitely hotter than in blue light.

Absolutely. Lighting, and the 'type' of lighting does have a significant affect on what your eyes perceive. I had a Jeep Wrangler some years back. It was bright red with some graphics along the lower body. I went to wash it one night (normally done during the daylight hours) and noticed that the passenger rear quarter panel had been repaired/repainted at one point. In the sunlight it was impossible to see it, but under the florescent lights of the car wash, it was obviously orange compared to the rest of the Jeep.

And that goes right along with how the device you're viewing it on can change the color.

Yup. Not an idiot here. I do know all that.
But Coss, "I compared the unveiling video with these photos..." side-by-side on the same 'screen.

And because of all that, I'm starting to think I'm going to have to visit Shreeveport...
To be absolutely sure that I'll be happy with my final color choice.

Best case would be that the tour swings close with both the P5 and P6 on one of my days off.

Don't think you will have to go that far. The colors are based off of PPC codes. You will be able to look at them once the code numbers are finalized and released.

2 different cameras and completely different lighting.
There is a 3rd set of pictures in which the colors look different again.

The P5/E1 is the end of the P series; there will not be a P6.
The P5/E1 is the first in the E series which are the Engineering Series Vehicles.
Those will run E1 thru E25

And I never said anyone was an idiot nor comment on anyone's level of intelligence.
Comments like that are completely unnecessary.
