So if I don't pre-order a vehicle and just wait to go to the store to buy one, how much longer am I going to have to wait to get one? I know everyone who pre-ordered is gonna get theirs first, and that's fine, but I'd just like an idea of how much longer I'll have to wait.
A very important determination- just how much and where will determine your purchase date-
If you go "all in" @ 1k you'll be about 15000 (about/don't know the exact number) and you'll know almost exactly your production number (fleet sales and drop-outs will make your SIL a small variable)
If you go $100.00 "want in" you're at the end of all the reservationists- about 50,000/60k.
I go with the posts above to estimate time frames
If you are considering it, keep in mind the incentives will probably evaporate at a future date.
All the best whatever your decision.

And this is where some people will be making some money; selling the ones that come out early for a mark up.
Personally I wouldn't do it; I've waited this long and want to enjoy it (if being the envy of a few happens, oh well <hehehehehh>) ;)

I don't feel that "Fleet Sales" will have any effect on the mfg. rate for a long time.
They already have a couple of fleet sales added into the 49,017 total; they consider it a fleet sale if 5 or more are ordered at one time, or by the same person. The EM tour group did mention that they have an "eastern country" that is very interested in buying a bunch of them as soon as they figure out what they have to do for international sales. (The one that wants a bunch, probably wants to give each wife one ;))

Hmm 49,017 I wonder when they will reach 50,000?

might even be more if they have more than one wife.

Last number I've seen was just north of 17,000 for "$1,000 all-in" reservations.

50,000 - 49017 = 983 / 29 = 33.896551...
the figure for reservations that I was given a couple of weeks ago is a steady 40 per week. We have 1,000 to go, so... that' s 25 weeks. Unless something happens such as the testing mentioned above to goose it along. So that's the basis for my post. It's possible I misheard, and it's 40/day, in which case .... 25 days! Might be!
