Your Elio Replaces?

If I can manage a 5+ hour drive between cities with two people, with luggage space for two people (using a trailer of sorts), the Elio might replace a Ford Focus. If I can't figure out a way to have a road trip with two people then it clearly wouldn't be able to replace anything

It would Replace a More Expensive Vehicle that's Much Less Efficient on Gas, More Expensive on Most Incidentals like Wiper Blades, Tires, Spark Plugs, Wires, and Oil Changes. Not to Mention Tolls, since the Elio Would fall under a Cheaper Toll Plan Due to it's Fuel Efficiency.

So, it really Don't Matter what the Year, Make, and Model Vehicle I Currently have, because the Elio Would Pay for itself Just in the Savings Alone.

Agreed that the Elio will pay for itself, and then it'll just be money in the bank every mile after that.

Elio will be my daily driver but with 2 kids I will need to keep my 4 seater Mits Mirage. So that makes it an AND vehicle for me.

I am planning to replace a motorcycle but still serve as my "And" vehicle. Better visibility (by others), mpg, use in rain & light snow, more annual usability, no "helmet head", & safer.

Since I am retired my Elio will replace my 2000 4wd GMC Jimmy - 15 MPG. Then I will have the Elio and a Can Am Spyder. Best of both worlds for me.

Well heck. The Elio now became very important, as far as "I wish I could get it now".

Last night a real idiot was speeding up the road, lost control, came crashing through my yard and totaled 3 1/2 vehicles! Not to forget, two fences and structural damage to my garage!

Wifeys is damaged, but is still safe to drive. My Neon beater is immobile now, as it my old Chevy truck (I love that old truck) and Wifeys old van.

C'mon Elio. I'll wait, but it's really needed right now...
