I forgot to mention two things. One of the Elio reps, not Jerome, mentioned the possibility of optional fenders like on the P3. Also I was surprised they did not have a table set up to collect names and Emails, voluntarily of course. OR give out a brochure! There were several folks in line that did not have a reservation or a clue about the details of the Elio or the website etc. etc. If I were the tour team I would collect names and where folks were from (to see how far they drove) and emails and start sending these folks information about how to order and Elio and how to buy stock. I think Elio is missing an opportunity. Just my 2 cents.

8. How will Elio vehicle deliveries be handled initially?
A. Delivery at the factory and possibly temporary sites set up with tents.
So does this mean that the first so many people will have to fly down to Shreveport to get their Elios? This is different than what we've heard so far. I wonder how long that would last.

And, I sure hope that if (when) I fly down, I'll be able to get a plant tour.
That's kinda the whole point of the trip...

Excellent observations, pictures, questions and answers from those who attended. Looks like they dressed up the engine bay a little more, even fixed the oil dip stick complaint.
Still don't like the long hood prop. The rear hatch prop is inexpensive and efficient.
That is one thing I will be working on after I get the ELIO. (The hood prop and hood pin locks)
I assume they must have at least another P-5 completed as earlier Paul said that they might be using the P-4 at some of the displays as they needed the P-5 for "modeling".

for us, the fact that it will definitely be built to be flat towed makes is possible for us to pick ours up at the factory ..... for various reasons, for us flying/bus/train down there isn't practical .... but driving our pickup and towing it back most certainly is .... depending on what (if any) savings could be generated by not paying to have it delivered, things could really work out well

so far as I know, there is only one P5 level Elio .... when its not being displayed with the tour, its back with the engineers and builders .... the P4 will fill in when the need to be in the shop makes it necessary
