We're at about 10" and still coming down hard, with a strong wind building drifts across my driveway. The airport is closed, Roads are a mess and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon! On the bright side it should let up about 6PM. :D
Then we get to dig out!:( Oh Joy!

Yikes! Yes I heard DIA was closed.

Official Snow total (for those suffering from gutter brain:rolleyes:) was 18" for Arvada,CO. We had drifts up to 2.5' in the driveway. My little snow blower had a hard time with the heavy wet snow at the bottom of the drifts. Plugged up several times. But we got three of the five parking spots cleared and put all the snow in the 4th and 5th space. We have completely blocked in my truck.:( Good thing I don't plan on using it for the next several days.
Now we just have to wait for the City to plow our cul- de-sac.:flypig:

If I know the Denver area, it'll get up to 70F in a day or so, and the only sign of the huge snowfall will be the 15' tall snowbergs in the parking lots.

PS - Please don't over exert yourselves trying to dig yourself out, it's so easy to do!

It was 'real' cold last night, 48f and today the high will be under average, 82f, you know it's all relative yes? Don't worry you'll be laughing at me when summer gets here. Ohh wait, my AC works, so maybe not too many laughs.

70's won't happen for at least the next 10 days. Mid 40's today and tomorrow, temps in the mid 30's on Saturday with more light snow forecast. Then starting Sunday mid 40's and 50's for the next 7 days. Can't complain it's been a mild winter and we knew this was coming. It happens every March!:(;)

2 of us started cleaning the driveway, ( myself and renter) after we got 1/3 cleared, I went and got the renters older kids out to help. There was no way we could have finished it ourselves. Got a great upper body workout from it, pushing the little snow blower and half shovel loads of snow. I would have pulled out the big blower but there is a 4' drift in front of the shed where it's stored.:rolleyes:Next year I'll put it back in the garage.;)

Hey Ari I've been in AZ in the fall. 113 degrees in late September 1988. Went down to Yuma to see my new nephew. Next time was in March 2003, thinking it would be cooler, NOT! You can keep the heat and I'll shovel the March snow.;)

Yep, I hear ya! --
For everyone else, at 7% moisture 113f is like 103f at 50% humidity, (something like that, you mileage may vary).
