I'd sooner own a hot, wet, quick, deep throated, windy Morgan over an Elio
I'm taking the Elio because I'm no longer in a position to buy 50k toys. ASMOF, I never was in that position! I've tried other positions, -but you won't catch STD's driving an Elio!!

Morgan just came out with an electric version. I hope Elio gets the same; guaranteed, someday.
I think if EM wanted to be cutting edge and disrupt the auto industry they should be developing the $6800 (?) ICE base model in tandem with a $12,900 EV Model and roll both out on the same day..........disrupting both markets.

They could do an EV for cheaper than $12,900 if they want to follow that one from Poland and not include the battery.

The technical/financial risk to EM is untenable to PE and I, as a potential ICE Elio owner, totally support him in that position. I'm glad to see EM pursue that when they have the ICE Elio rolling out by the thousands and reliable.
