You're right eh. That's why you need a trailer with a wheel track as close to that of the front wheels as possible.
My trailer will match the track of the rear wheel.

The pill bug or rolly polly is a good model for both trailers and fenders.
You know, that's a darned good idea now that you posted the picture. I am trying to think of something technical-ish but am caught up in the aesthetic.![]()

Should be fairly simple to fabricate a "reciever hitch" that bolts to the frame above the rear suspension swing-arm. This should easily fit (hidden) behind the black plastic wheel cover. So, when your not towing, the only thing visible would be a small access hole, about a foot below the license plate.... I fear the swivel point would have to encircle the rear tire of the Elio. I am not sure how well this would fit.

I went to their website. I would like to see the hitch. It would have to hinge in two axis. One axis for going over bumps and curbs,; the second for turning corners. However, the vertical would need a vertical pin to keep the trailer from falling over. I hope this is not too technical.

Put two pivots in a row... one pivots up and down only and the other pivots left and right only... Should work.I went to their website. I would like to see the hitch.
