Those are some very beautiful pictures! Love the color of those glacial-melt lakes.

All the lakes throughout the region have that same color -- minerals in the rocks dissolved by the glacial and snow melt that fills the lakes.

There is two things missing from the pictures; the smell of the air, and the quiet of the area.
The air smell like nothing else, clean, crisp, and fresher than anywhere else I've been
The quiet; you hear the wildlife around you; but it blends into the scenery because it belongs there.

You have to go there to know what I mean.
