That looks like the E-1A's engine bay. Check out the cold air intake. And where are the dual brake/clutch fluid reservoirs and radiator coolant tank? The engine's been cleaned up a bit from the P5. Any other changes you can spot?
Wow... looks like they pushed the radiator forward and at a slight angle... It does look a lot cleaner in there. I wouldn't call that a cold air intake as it gets its air from under the hood. It's a conical filter rather than a flat type that is more common. A cold air kit doesn't look difficult to do though right there. Hmm... upgrade to cold air kit + turbo? ... hmm...Just saw this pic posted on EM's Facebook by Rick Deckard:

Ty, I'm right there with you!!!!!!!I don't know how to feel about this... Just seeing a new picture of a cleaned up engine bay makes me happy. Is it sad that is all it takes with the Elio to bring a smile to my face? I don't care.... I can't wait to drive mine!
Good point about the "cold" air intake, although I'd point out that many so-called cold air intake kits are sold as such although they aren't truly cold air since they suck air in from the engine bay, as you pointed out.Wow... looks like they pushed the radiator forward and at a slight angle...
