That looks like the E-1A's engine bay. Check out the cold air intake. And where are the dual brake/clutch fluid reservoirs and radiator coolant tank? The engine's been cleaned up a bit from the P5. Any other changes you can spot?
Plumbing has really been cleaned up, very neat and orderly, Intake looks slightly different.
Elio emblem on timing cover now embossed, Black box on left sidewall new, looks like cover for vacuum devices, or ?
All wiring is now in black plastic spiral wrap, you can see that headlights are just covers with no housing behind them.

Wow... looks like they pushed the radiator forward and at a slight angle... It does look a lot cleaner in there. I wouldn't call that a cold air intake as it gets its air from under the hood. It's a conical filter rather than a flat type that is more common. A cold air kit doesn't look difficult to do though right there. Hmm... upgrade to cold air kit + turbo? ... hmm...

When in Greenwood, IN the Rep there mentioned the might change the angle as a way of increase the MPG.

Good point about the "cold" air intake, although I'd point out that many so-called cold air intake kits are sold as such although they aren't truly cold air since they suck air in from the engine bay, as you pointed out.
