Just go this yesterday, I'll let you know if it's worth the $5 or not.. If it does, I know what I am giving out for X-Mas this year.

I have this very one... it DOES work for me...but occasionally will give me a CEL when I power down... just turn back on and shut off again... all is well !!!

Exactly. I wanted one that was phone and app based so it's always updated and can grab current info. For instance: In Torque, if I get a code, it offers to look up the code for me. If there is an associated TB (or recall) associated with the code, it'll tell me that, too. The last code I had was fixed by Ford at no cost to me. Had I been at Autozone or had a static code reader, I may not have known the fix would be free to me. (I'm just out of my warranty period and assumed I'd have to pay for any repairs but was wrong. Yay, Ford. Well, not yay for having the issue but yay for fixing it for me.)
