Oh, oops. I forgot to take any picks. !! Shoot!! Well, I'm not much of a selfie guy and only W.Willie and I showed. We'r both a bit on the 'not young' side and I'm guessing he's not into having the camera-god take his soul either.

Thanks w.w for bringing your turbo upgraded Insight to the meet-up! It was a nice and straight forward upgrade. I look forward to attempting the other upgrading you suggested for the Elio. Now all we need is the actual Elio's to get creative on.

I can confirm from our meeting and in the forums, we already have all kinds of garage experimenters on tap who can and will advise each other on how to improve their Elio's.

So it was only the two of us, but frankly given the season, I'm pretty happy that even one at all showed up.

The next meeting I'll attempt is 3-4-17 or Pec.2017.3.4

Elio upgrades/mods we talked about, under-pan, Suspension skirt, smaller mirrors (his Insight upgrade as an example) Turbo system monitors as used on his car, etc.

We also ranted on trolls, but hey nobody likes what they perceive as trolls. Which is almost an oxymoron statement given that part of the concept is that of a perceived despicable on-line character. Anyone with an agenda we don't condone.
( Who a troll? me a troll? I no troll !! ) lol. Admittedly, an eye-of-the-beholder paradigm..

Thanks god w.w wore his EO shirt. I forgot, but I brought a 3wheeler RC of a Can-Am and that landed w.w at my table.

Just got back from the meet. 651 miles and could only muster 62.4 mpg for the trip.
High head and cross winds across the desert from El Centro to past Yuma was the worst.
The usual 6% grade for 20 miles close to home didn't help either.
Running in 4th most of the way didn't help at all, (because of the headwinds.)
Average 64.2 MPH for the excursion.

I had a great time. It was about a 2 hours conversation that covered a variety of things. From EMC2 to family.
I hope at the next one there will be more ELIOERS.
Was great to meet you AriLea and hope to do it again.
Time for a good soaking in the tub, then bed. (this old man is tired.)

Another successful meeting. I say if one other person shows up We will have a good time. The Northern people have January 21, 2:00 at the COBO Center in Detroit. Actually any time in those two weeks they can go to see the Elio team, but that Saturday I will be there and I called the meeting, lol.
