What Willie said. Unless you are selling at a deep discount it does not make much sense for someone to buy it since the number gets reset to the back of the line. I could see someone willing to pay $100 for it, but unless we hear some good news soon I cannot really see anyone paying more.

Good luck with the sale!

The best way to go is sell a contract for your spot for say 500 but you order the car for the buyer. your spot in line is all that is worth anything. Probably to someone in your state might go for that.

A while back, I had the same thought about early spot in line, spots.
How many spots would be not claimed?

Beside the mortality problem, I was wondering, mainly about the early spots in line
1. people who simply don't want an Elio any more and forfeit their deposit.
2. people who delay their purchase.
3. people who sell their spot.
4. people who EM lost track of due to the person changing their contact info and did not update EM.
5. ? any other ideas?

Perhaps with such a low number purchase and have it trailered to your home,(don't register it for a few weeks and see if you can sell it) and IF they will come in production, there will be many who will at that time pay a premium. Also have a dash badge engraved with all the info.
