So did the cert expire or something? I always get a "Not secure" message when I access this site.

Same here, it might be something with your machine.
Try dumping your browsing files (history) and basically just do a clean up on your system.

The browser showing "https://" is NOT a true indication of a secure connection. If the certificate is expired or invalid, you may still get an SSL connection, but not be completely secure. That's the point of the "secure/not secure" indicators.
As for the certificate itself, my browser is showing the certificate as valid from 12 April 2018 to 11 Jul 2018. You may have a transient issue, or there could be problems with your particular connection to the server. As Coss said, empty your browser cache. "On Chrome, hit CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE". On the Basic tab, clear "Cached Images and File". If that doesn't work, you can try clearing "Cookies and other site data", too. That will also clear any saved logins to web sites, so make sure you know all your passwords, first!
