Thanks for the feedback. I tried the clearing of both images and cookies. I am indeed using chrome and when I click on the "Not secure" from the previous image I get the information below. This seems to confirm that I too am seeing a valid certificate.

When I follow the "Learn more" link (https://support.google.com/chrome/a...14445-1624177661&p=ui_security_indicator&rd=1) the most useful info I could obtain was:

I did find a "manage certificates" mechanism but I really have no clue what to do with them. I wonder if perhaps the www.elioowners.com certificate comes from some root that is not recognized by the trusted publishers/authorities currently loaded in my chrome browser or if perhaps some of the add ons I use might be interfering with chrome recognizing the connection as secure.

As a side note, I loaded the same page in Edge and I get no complaints from it about the site being unsecure so it appears to really be an issue with my chrome browser.

These are almost always browser issues. Add ons , especially cookie managers and blockers affect this, as well as browser settings. There are many sites I cannot access at all with my Pale Moon browser, Firefox (the newest) is generally ok, although others I need to use Chromium for.

Problems like this are very hard to diagnose if you're not a network security analyst. (Which I am NOT!) There are may things that could make this happen, from browser bugs to bad plugins to site configuration errors. Maybe you somehow, unknowingly, deleted one of the root certificates from your browser. That would be hard to do by accident, but stranger things have happened.

To make it even more difficult: Just because Edge says everything is cool, doesn't mean that it really is. It is possible that Edge is not checking something that Chrome does check. So Chrome may be finding problems that Edge isn't. It's always a good point of reference to try another browser, but that doesn't give a definitive answer.

In the end, though, this is just a discussion forum, not a banking site. An improper SSL connection means that you could be connecting to an impostor server pretending to be elioowners.com, or the FBI could be reading all of your elioowners.com posts through a surveillance program inserted into your ISP's backbone router by the NSA! Neither one is all that likely. If you were trying to connect to your bank and getting SSL certificate issues, on the other hand, that would be the proper time to get worried.

Dang... where did I put that aluminum foil hat :)

A bit more info. I am accessing the site using chrome on a different computer and all is well (Secure connection). I'm thinking a full scan of my other computer is in order and then maybe start comparing certificate information between the two instances. Sigh... or maybe I'll just go on ignoring it and go back to doing something non-computer related again.

Thanks again for all the help.

Good plan!! When in doubt, ignore it, maybe it will go away (grin)
Now there is a computer user with a great attitude; it's not blocking what I'm doing, so we're good.
Love it!!
