Yes, a 200 savings and not much more on the paperwork front. Just a few emails really. I hope someone gets it but I don't think it will be soon as we are all in limbo now waiting for more news.

True. I'd find it odd if someone were to jump in at this point. Maybe after there is movement again but not now.

Honestly, the Elio is starting to look dated. Would have been cool in 2015 when I was supposed to get mine, but now, not so much. Don't get me wrong. Still a great idea, but dated non the less.

Just my opinion, but how could the design be dated? After years of waiting, there's still no other vehicle like it on the road.

It's about as aerodynamic as it can be. A simple vehicle that should have been available decades ago. Auto industry (and oil interests) had no desire to see a simple, basic super fuel efficient vehicle on the roadways. Let's see the Elio make it to market – just as it is.

You know, part of the reason today's cars are so darn expensive – are the constant model revisions. Just superficial changes to the bumpers, mirrors, grills, etc. Year after year…

Personally, I hope they keep the Elio just like it is for many years – until real makeovers are warranted by improved performance and economy – not just so it "looks" different.
