I have been following Elio Motors since 2009.I am tired of the weekly letters/blog from Elio and not saying anything they just go over the same stuff from the past.I want to see this car made so Elio needs to give us a real update on what is going on not rehash of old stuff we already know.

welcome newbee- you are on the end of A VERY LONG line that for years have been asking the very same info. If you want to bother (at this time in he Elio story)there are many forums that will share your sentiments and provide insights.
Or don't even bother as it aint gonna happen

I have not totally given up, almost, but not completely. Sure, I hate the rehashed blogs and lack of information. No reports to the SEC, etc.
However, given all that, Elio Motors is still there. Perhaps Paul has one last "Hail Mary" before giving up. Who knows?

You are not alone, stock is at 95 cents. Why it is worth anything astounds me.

Elio like many great ideas will never come to fruition. The idea of a vehicle that could be manufactured and sold for less than $10k with cheap fuel costs would have revolutionized commuting to work. Arcimoto, the electric 3 wheeler, is in production and plans to build about 200 vehicles a week in 2020. At just over $20k with no fuel cost and low maintain Arcimoto could achieve the dream Elio started. The draw back for Arcimoto is low production and currently the vehicle has no AC. If Elio had been for real, I’d would rather have spent half the money up front and bought gas as needed. Elio’s plant facility was projected to build from 10K to 20k vehicles per month and Elio was supposed to have AC standard,

In my opinion, the Arcimoto is closer to a golf cart than a car. Fills the desires and needs of some people – glad they're making them, even though it's not for me.
I agree. Rickb really liked it based on his test drive but he's paying 20K for that Limited Edition which in my opinion is too much- better value is the SOLO at 18K both are limited to 100 mile range but the latter is fully enclosed, had the same car feel and includes A/C if I'm not mistaken- downside is it sits one.

It seats one but also does not give the open air riding experience that the FUV does, which I believe was one of the appeals for Rickb. We spoke a bit about this since we both test drove the FUV and both enjoyed it. I gave up motorcycles for my Miata for the open air commuting experience, the FUV felt like a cross between them. Not as open and free as a bike but more so than the Miata.
