Arcimoto to Aquire Tilting Motor Works!

til.jpg
I give them at least 10 years before they have that tilting feature in their lines of FUVs. So far they've delivered 97 units only in so many years they've been around. It'll be interesting how they'll meet the challenge and expensive it'll be.

So they can buy another company ("Pump up the volume, pump up the volume, dance, dance") but they can't build one measly set of doors for Rick? Where'd he go? Come back here Rick!

Looks like Arci is going to be the Kel-Tec of EVs. Quirky, one-of-a-kind products that work but take forever to get.

You got that right! Rickb sounded like he's done here...it's either he finally got the doors or just gave up waiting.

Arci seems to have big plans but I wonder if they should spend more time fulfilling their reservations as opposed to franchising and promoting future products that they have no definitive date on producing. I checked their website and was looking to buy that $11,900 version. Seems it doesn’t exist. I can only put down a reservation on a much more expensive one and then just sit back until they make it at some future date. Since I live in PA, I’m even going to wait longer as they seem to not be shipping to the majority of the US or even allow you to pick it up. They sure are making it difficult to buy one yet they make lots of announcements.

Yup, sadly seems to be the modern MBa way of business, do whatever it takes to get the shares value up, actual product is a long way down the list of priorities. Have a look at Ayro's Facebook site, all confidence boosting to attract investment, and little on product .. https://www.facebook.com/ayroinc/

It's not just Arcimoto, Ayro and Elio, it's many companies in many fields of product doing the same scammy type 'company value over product'.

Yup, ya just gotta hate all those Arcimoto announcements. They get in the way of buying vehicles, or wait a minute are they update announcements of actual progress that will allow more people to buy vehicles in the near future that includes a required servicing network to get it right out the box. A plan followed by actual implementation. That’s a novel idea. A startup vehicle manufacturer announcing their successful completion of milestone events: contracting with Munro & Associates to streamline production scale and quality control, acquiring a new 193,000 sf manufacturing facility in Eugene, OR, new product development, delivery/roadside assistance/servicing partnerships that will allow them to expand their regional sales areas, and to scale production numbers to deliver more product and ultimately bring the price down, as they currently roll out and deliver vehicles to happy customers. Also, Arcimoto is taking good care of their customers and vehicles they have delivered thus far. Arcimoto’s value is their honest, talented, hard working dedicated people and their product. I’ve met them, driven the product, and early invested in their vision.

Yup, heard it all before Rick. What you have posted in essence is what they all narrate to increase share value. You neglected to mention the $220,000 CEO salary by the way ...

Look, I wish them the best of luck, hope they do well if they are genuine, but if it looks like dog poo, smells like dog poo, and tastes like dog poo, be careful not to stand in it.

I saw somewhere: “It’s easier to fool a man than it is to convince him that he has been fooled”, can't remember I read it though .... ;)

There is a genuine Arcimoto shop Dog (see attached photo), but no dog poo in sight when I toured the buzzing with activity AMP, test drove the FUV (exceeded my expectation in terms of driver comfort, performance, and handling), met the genuine management/dedicated employees, and have ongoing contact with genuinely happy Arcimoto customers that have owned production model FUVs for well over a year. Also, no moose poo on the test track when the FUV recently passed the Moose Test. The “It’s easier to fool a man”, quote applies to those that continue to believe planning updates followed by Forward Looking Statements when no actual progress or milestone event has been made or for that matter no test drive prototype or beta vehicles. My only personal disappointment with Arcimoto has been the longer than anticipated wait for doors and my personal choice to delay delivery of my FUV until doors are available.

This appears to be an experience fact based vs a no experience personal opinion based discussion, but thanks for your hope they succeed on what is already a successful start for a new vehicle startup company. :)
