Funding is the #1 issue. Maybe they got it but until September 30th to live up to their claim.

I don't have a problem with that. All I ask for are a few simple things:
1. If you are a startup, you pay me up front.
2. I don't take pay in stock.
3. Let me know up front the timeline for that machine you want. Then sign a contract because I don't need your financing problem to become mine.

Typically with many of these startups (especially the ones that IPO) is this. They work hard to get to the point of the IPO. Get quotes for everything and have a plan. IPO happens and then they start spending money on silly things that pretty much make them feel better. About 18 months later they call and now need that machine at the same exact price because they have a tight budget. Plus, they need it in half the time. All while I have spent a bunch of time (without getting paid as it's a quote) to requote and then being asked,, "Is there any wiggle room on that price, plus we really need to get to production ASAFP." All while they hired 15 new directors and C level execs. Plus tripled the size of the area for the offices for them, added a coffee bar and plus to get that super great talent, they all got high end company cars, along with team building retreats to Hawaii. I need to take a cut in my profit because they took that IPO and blew it on stuff that they didn't need or even originally budgeted for pre IPO.

If you look at Arcimoto, they seemed to inflate to 11 C level Execs. All of this to produce 89 units from October to December (which equates to losing $40K per unit by the Q3 numbers). Top it off, burn through a boatload of cash only to reduce the workforce by 1/3 and then stop production (I know, it's for the all improved 2023 model yet we have zero idea as to what that really is) then go silent (except for winning another internet award and telling us how many they made in Q4). My spidey sense tells me that their "supply chain issues" has to do with not being able to pay the bills to get those parts.

Hopefully, Nimbus can be like Vanderhall. Private funded and pay all bills. Thus keep production running and sell product along allow for free test drives.

I do see there are three brand new FUV's and two used (one with 134.9 miles and the other with 428). So with the huge demand for those units, buy one now. Only a $500 non refundable deposit.
You should email both Nimbus and Arcimoto regarding your interest and terms. Bex may be interested in your services too.

Done. Mark BEX reads the forum, so he knows. I also suggest you email Nimbus and Arcimoto. This way you can consult them too on what they need to do. For example, tell Arcimoto to sell in your state and offer full doors. Tell Nimbus to offer free test drives in your town. This way, they will realize that they are missing out on key marketing and demand. The Nimbus is going to start being built and sold in July - September, so time is running out. That's only at least 5 months away.

I assumed BEX had already contacted you.
Not yet but I will assume that looking at his progress, he needs no help. Plus, he would rather take the funding he has and dump it in the product. That's what I'd do. Maybe great minds think alike.

At least he's transparent on his project and not asking for money. You have to respect that. It's like Vanderhall. They were transparent and never asked for money. Built a product, had it fully certified by NHTSA, went out, got dealers to sell, offer free test drives, warranty, service, built a 1M sqft plant in the USA and they sell internationally (along in all 50 states). That's my benchmark. I'd like to see Nimbus go down the same route.

As for Mark BEX, he has a while and from his posts, he knows that he will see what the market will bear. Arcimoto is right now planning on 50K units by 2025. Can they sell that many? I do wonder, is Arcimoto back to production with those new 2023 models? We are in month 2 of 2023. They have these new mystery updates and I'd think they would have been telling us about them by now. Communication is key and so far they have been silent. Nimbus has been pretty silent too. Must be because they are ramping up for that production in Q3.

As for Nimbus, they are looking to pitch a series A for $30M:
https://pitchbook.com/profiles/company/343761-13#overview

They are a Michigan corporation:
https://eintaxid.com/company/843743929-nimbus-av,-inc./

According to the SEC, offered securities back in 2019 ($260K):
https://www.sec.gov/edgar/browse/?CIK=0001796665

They are a Delaware Corp (for tax reasons):
https://icis.corp.delaware.gov/eCorp/EntitySearch/NameSearch.aspx

All public information on the company. If you want you can look up where they are located as they are on the public documents. Still private but looks like they are shopping around for $30M right now.

Arcimoto (without the full enclosure option), Vanderhall (with or without full enclosure), or ElectraMeccanica (single seat) simply don’t meet my needs, so could care less at this point, but all three are currently in production and delivering vehicles. Nimbus has a long way to go…….BEX longer and wish them both success. Nimbus checks the most personal needs and wants boxes, but doubt they’ll make production. If they do, their strategy is to roll out sales and service State by State. If they sign on with you, please recommend starting sales and service in South Dakota. I could care less about their funding sources, public or private. The public investors understand the risk and make the choice to invest or not. Arcimoto was transparent and privately funded throughout the R&D process to include the certified production model.

Nimbus does not fit your needs either. It's a one seater. Yes it has a "jump seat" but look at it and there's no way a 2nd person will be riding in it. So, it's back to the FUV and hopefully they listen to their potential customers, add a full door option and open up to all 50 states.

Yes it does have an adequate passenger seat/space, based on the video I watch of a passenger entering, sitting, and exiting the Nimbus. It seems you think to have a better understanding of my needs and wants than I do.

I have serious interest in the Nimbus concept, but a test drive or 30 day rental is needed to validate whether or not I would rent or buy one.

Unless my eyes are playing tricks with me, you're looking at a 2 seater Nimbus with two full size adults. But if you're XXX size, then it ain't for you. :nerd:;)
