Snow Alert For Elio

The Elio guys say 5 inches of snow is about the maximum the Elio should be driven in. Well, I got the 5 inches but no Elio to test it out. Bummer

With all season tires on the front. Set inside where it's warm and take off. Snowmobile, not. For myself I will stay on the roads.

Truthfully, I'd rather take the snow in the winter up here than the heat in the summer down there.

5" of snow ain't squat around here (I'm at 7300ft). When we get 5" of snow, it usually end up in 3-6ft drifts; early morning drift-bustin' is fun with the 3/4-ton Suburban - hit'em at 40-50mph and hope you punch through!

Given 5 inches of snow on the ground it will still be far more comfortable and utilized for a greater portion of the year even in the northern states than a motorcycle...
