a question for folks in central NC .... down the road, when someone in the area gets their bike, I'd sure like to see pictures, read impressions and hopefully have a chance to see it in person

sure.... but I would think you would rather pick the brains of the Elio people themselves.
for some info that's the way to go but they are there to sell a product .... the info they give will be full of hope and long on promise .... for other info, I find people who do their homework know questions to ask that rookies like me wouldn't know need to be asked

The Elio personnel are definitely on tour to generate exposure and reservations so they do put a positive spin on things however many members have found them to be very open and honest about this venture when speaking to someone truly interested in the vehicle asking good direct questions instead of the normal routine questions which receive the normal canned answers. They truly believe in this project and If you come prepared with good questions you will receive very good direct answers provided to the best of their knowledge.
We have had quite a number of members who have raised their reservation level after a showing not only because of how nice the vehicle is but also because of the level of commitment and honesty shown by the Elio personnel on the tour.
goofyone will you be going to the Charlotte event?
I hope to be there! Hopefully you can drive over from Fayetteville and we can meet up and maybe grab a bite to eat along with any other members who wish to join in the fun.
My plan is to try and make it to all the events within a few hours drive of Atlanta. Hopefully my schedule will allow this to happen so I will be able to meet as many members as possible during these events.
