Me too, but in the last few years my luck seems to go south.
Anyway by April of next year we should know if another delay will come.
Another thing, by the time Elio hits the road there should be a lot of Elio aftermarket items in the works for us to spend more money on.

I think once there are 60,000 pre orders then money for Paul will come easier. But I really believe there will be no production started until the orders get up.

I think hitting 60K reservations in the next 6 months, or less, will not be difficult at all. EM needs about 25K more reservations to reach that number which happens to be about the number of reservations they have added in the last 6 months.

Unlike the last six months, where we have mostly been waiting for things to happen, over the next 6 months we should see the results of this slow time as things were being worked on behind the scenes. There should be plenty of press coverage which is what really drives reservations as we should finally see an actual running Elio engine, the P5/E0 prototype, along with the construction and testing of a number of E-series pre-production test models.

I think we would all love to see this however realistically the development timeline is pretty tight as is. The good news is that getting that money sooner than later would definitely allow them to start production without delay as soon as the needed testing is complete.

I got in my car to go to church on Sunday and the side mirrors were fogged over with dew.
Con: Without a rear window and rear defogger, we will have to wipe off the side mirrors before using the Elio after a heavy dew.
Pro: We can wipe off both side mirrors from the driver's seat!

May have to spring for defoggers / heaters on the side mirrors...

I recall filling my Opel in 1972 at the Crow-Flite station and getting change back from a $5 bill. Boy, times have changed!

Then again, $5 was almost like money then. Now it won't even buy lunch at MacD's. I'd love to have a '72 Opel Gt though, Unique little car.
