Ok I Know The Elio Has No Interior Rear View Mirror, So Where Can I Hang My Handicap Placard?

They have to offer handicapped plates for motorcycles, there's no law against riding a motorcycle with an artificial leg as long as you can pass the test, and if you have one of those, you qualify to have handicapped parking.... If the states didn't offer it, it would be a violation of the Americans with disabilities act, I would say it would be grounds for a hefty lawsuit.

Since the Elio is operated in most states as exempt from the motorcycle endorsement, and operates like a car, handicapped people will no doubt be able to drive them if they so choose.... It might be difficult for them to do so if they need to haul a wheelchair though.

As I read your post I was visualizing a motorcycle or Elio going down the road towing a wheelchair behind it. LOL :-) Z

In desperation I once parked in a handicapped space after circling the parking lot five times for an open space and failing to find one. I immediately attracted the stare of a women sitting in the car opposing mine, also in a handicapped space. I had my young son with me and instructed him to climb out of the car and come around and help lead me into the store as if I where blind...."It'll be fun", I told him. He did what I instructed and the woman's jaw dropped about a foot.
And yes, Colorado does have a disabled plate for motorcycles....

So you are the one who caused my wife to have a breathing attack and wound up in the hospital trying to get to the pharmacy in the store to get her meds......

Dave, I'm guess you got that of an official Colorado web site. However, it does not look like a 4"x 7" plate motorcycle plate--it looks more like a standard auto plate.
(In Utah the motorcycle plates are small and only have room for five characters.)

Since you don't have your plates yet, why not just get a handicap plate. Then you won't need the placard.

I've never seen a "Handicap" motorcycle plate. Do they really make them? Guess I wouldn't be surprised if they did... it just seems a little out there.
