I tried the search function, to no avail, but I am planning on making the trip from Michigan to Louisiana, in order to do the factory tour, watch my Elio get built & then drive it home! I am SERIOUSLY worried about getting home, getting out of my brand new Elio, just to find chips in the paint from the drive home! That thought is not sitting very well with me & I would really like to see a custom auto bra option available at time of pick up! I'm going to email them about that now!

This works well or blue tap or plasti dip for quick application

I want my ElioMobile to be made of non-shiny dull-finish TUPPERWARE !

why do we need to paint our vehicles, then spend time and money washing and polishing ?

some kind of non-shiny flexible plastic/fiberglass that would not chip or scratch ..

color IMPREGNATED ! then the ability to just buy new body panels (Smartcar) and customize .

is it cheaper to paint all the body panels ?

ideal solution ..lightweight aluminum chassis and non-chipping body panels. last forever !!

this SWISS made electric three wheel two-person vehicle made about 10 years ago

they manufactured 60 of these and gave them to a small Town to use to road test the vehicles BEFORE production. Unfortunately, they pulled the plug (excuse the pun)

they are probably stored away somewhere, I tried numerous times to purchase one with no luck..

it APPEARS the flexible plastic (tupperware) body panels are color impregnated, no waxing required !
