With a little more comparison using the photos I have from this weekend I am now nearly certain that the Elgin prototype I got my hands on this weekend is the very same one we saw in Tech Talk v5 back in March however we all thought that was a rendering when in fact it was a physical prototype. My guess is that may have actually been intended to be the P4 dash as we also know they are the same size as Jerome told me that however for whatever reason it never made it into the P4.

Compare for yourselves:

The more I see the dash, it grows on me.

So I see the highbeam indicator, what then might that upper-center indentation be? Curious. I wonder if the fuel indicator might turn red if it's running low? In addition to the "low fuel" light?

QUOTE="nthawk68, post: 72114, member: 2110"]A revolutionary car deserves a revolutionary interior, so we might as well go for the unusual in the dash.... I am a dial guage kind of guy, but will remain rigidly flexible with the dash. Agree a dash will not be a deal breaker, and the dash will just be 1 more conversation starter whenever I have stopped for a pee break, I am estimating 2 pee breaks for each fillup.[/QUOTE]

'Rigidly flexible' is like 'Military Intelligence'.......you obviously don't suffer from TBS (Tiny Bladder Syndrome)! :D
