Maybe he brings in some $ from some investor. Plus his past experience makes him a good candidate for Elio.

Maybe so. He might just be the representative of said stakeholder. If i was dumping big bucks in Elio wouldn't I want a dude on the inside?

I was just looking at his compensation with Mercedes. Elio is either totally nuts or has come into some cash. This guy was VP for marketing Smart for the big M, impressive.

He's just a board member, not a VP or anything.
I don't know how much compensation they get for things like that.

Actually he is the former President of smart USA and apparently was the President when that brand launched here. That makes him a very interesting addition to the EM board.
