I can see some room there for different clients being given different treatment .... wouldn't it be reasonable to believe that it is possible a single project client (specially when that project has been paid for and is coming to a conclusion) might not get preferential treatment accorded to clients with ongoing major projects .... I don't know the answer, but I can see the possibility

it would be great if you can find out how they plan to generate the additional head room in the rear seat
I've been wondering about that, too. Last summer it was "raise the roof," but now it's "lower the seat." Heaven knows they can't make it much skinnier or much harder.

Funny thing is that from what we have now been able to gather it is likely a combination of both. The seat will be lowered, resulting in the news of a slightly smaller fuel tank of approximately 7.2 gallons, however the roof line is also changing a bit which does not change the overall vehicle height however does affect how much roof height is available for the back seat.

You can see the difference in AriLea's renderings which are based on EM's rendering which he confirmed to be accurate with EM. The creme colored upper image is the expected production model shape and the orange lower image is the current P4.

It would appear that the rear seat area will be much more comfortable both in terms of ceiling height and in terms of the windows being larger creating a more open feeling.

what a difference a few inches make- I think the really outstanding characteristic is the enlarged rear window.
As a ling time advocate for yellow, I rest my case!! thanks for the work-ups
You will notice Goofy calls this color "creme" hoping as to not reopen the can of worms about yellow again. Perhaps we can call it curdled creme color instead of yellow. Also If you get time could you please copy all the little square thingies onto the Orange model so that I can compare?

The one client that probably gets preferential treatment is the Volkswagen Group. I think IAV has done and is doing a fine job engineering and testing the Elio engine. It's ready or close to ready. It doesn't get any better than that.

Looking at the drawing, I realize two things. First, how great this car would look with wire wheels, and second, that it looks really good from the side but will look even worse from dead astern than it does now. thanks for posting this and answering the question. I'm sorry that the highway range will be reduced to 604 miles.
