The Elio Engine

I once toured the Airstre plant in Ohio... definitely neat watching campers being built. Elio will have to have an engine produced every minute and will surely have to have multiple machines if any single process takes more than a minute to complete. If it takes 4 minutes to spray the cylinders, they'd have to have either four machines working as long as the production line or two machines working double the time of the production tion line. Luckily, ComU and IAV are experienced.

exactly .... working in the RV industry for well over 10 years I've toured a bunch of manufacturing plants .... scheduling to meet production demands is universal .... they can use more machines and/or the same number of machines running for longer periods .... I have no doubt that these factors have been thoroughly researched and plans to meet the demand are in place

Does anyone know how much it is costing Elio Motors to have IAV develop the engine?

What is happening is that a whining petulant child is trying to highjack this thread to vomit forth his anger and frustration that he couldn't have his own way.
We are on the course that Paul Elio has set whether "eliothegreat" likes it or not.
"eliothegreat" and his opinions on this subject are irrelevant at this point since he can't drag himself away from his rejected ideas and the decision has already been made by the adults who are running the company.
All "eliothegreat" can do at this point is sow the seeds of discontent to people who are willing to listen to him.
Or waste your time by trying to lead you down his rabbit holes.

I remember them saying at one point. I'm glad they are though. Paul, at one point, said they had the funds to carry them through the development stage but other than that, I don't remember the numbers... Goofyone, jump in here. (If Elio doesn't consider some kind of "Super supporter discount" for him, they are doing a disservice).
