This article is a pretty straightforward explanation of what took place and what is going to take place soon. It is not bit coin and it's not $1.5M.

I don't see the Elio being any different than a cheap car you can buy today (Nissan Versa, Mitsu Mirage). Their "off the shelf parts" is no different than what every other manufacturer does. They go to suppliers and then those suppliers make a variation of an existing part for the application...
Maybe Elio should do a Momentum on how many new automotive plants, expansions and jobs have been created since they have been telling us about their potential jobs creation. There's been a pretty good amount of automotive jobs creation since that announcement back in January 2013. Plus, Paul...
On 01/27/13 Then it changed to 84 mpg, $6800, anticipate 5 Star crash rating, 1L, 70 hp motor and 0-60 under 9.6 sec. So, the numbers took a while to get complete but at least when the reservations started in January 2013, they had them settled...
The earliest eon I can find (10/06/09) is under $7500, 5 star safety compliant and over 70 mpg highway.

Remember, it's "Up To 84 MPG" that's different than 84 mpg. Also, since it's not a car or truck, it's not subject to the official EPA test. So, unless Elio does the official EPA test through an independent testing lab or just pay the National Fuel and Vehicles Testing Lab in Ann Arbor, MI to do...
Elio stock sat below $3 since the end of January to the Overstock announcement (April 23). It was $2.61 and peaked at $4.70 on June 13 and closed at $4.60 yesterday. Elio stock right now is similar in price back on Oct 26, 2017. I do notice that just before an announcement (SEC filing and...
For the engine, back in May 2017 when Elio released the year end 2016 SEC filing, they had this:
As of the most current SEC filing, only one mention of Linamar:
So, I don't understand why the $45 to $50 million is left out today as opposed to a year ago (along with Aisin and Hyundai Dymos)...
The E-Elio would have been a good idea 10 years ago, not today. Here's why:
1. The EV investment ship set sail a long time ago and Tesla is at the helm.
2. The Chinese are way ahead of us in small EV vehicles. If they would just make a 3 wheeler, they could flood our market with cheap ones...
The SEC probably has a gag order on Elio. So, they can't tell you anything about business plans, timelines or fundraising. This is most likely why Elio has been silent on all of these subjects.
I look at what Musk is doing, is just pushing technology. From what I see it's working and what we really need here in the US is someone giving us that kick in the pants to keep moving forward. The car and space industry seemed to me to be stuck in a phase where technology was almost at a...
That's how my VW works. I suck the oil out through the dip stick and while that is going on, just change out the filter (which is about 6" from the oil fill). By the time I do that, the oil is all out of the oil pan. Then I fill it back up. It's almost too easy.
I test drove a new VW Tiguan and it had that feature too. My current VW has just a rear view but it's pretty funny what they did on the camera because it's hidden and part of the rear hatch release. One thing is, it's never dirty. Here's a video I found of it's operation.
